At the Summer Leadership Institute, leaders and professionals from across the disability sector gain valuable knowledge of current issues facing the disability community, engage in constructive dialogue and discussion, and receive resources to further develop and hone their professional skills. 

This year’s event focuses on the most pressing issues affecting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and the broader IDD community including threats to Medicaid, sustainability of small local chapters, board recruitment and non-profit management, staff recruitment and retention, the impact of technology on supports and services and much more.
