Safety & Protocol
We’re committed to producing and delivering exceptional programming while focusing on the health and well-being of our attendees. Do not travel to the Summer Leadership Institute if you have a positive test result for a contagious illness. You should not participate in sessions if you become sick at any time while attending. Please be aware that others in attendance may be at a heightened risk for severe illness. By presenting yourself at the registration counter and in sessions, you are confirming that you have observed the precautions described above.

Support and Accommodations
If you require accommodations to fully participate in the Summer Leadership Institute, please advise event organizers during your registration process. We cannot guarantee accommodation requests made less than 30 days before the start of the event.
Cancellation Requests
Cancellation Request Deadline: Friday, June 12
To receive a refund (minus a $50 cancellation fee), you must submit a cancellation request to [email protected] by Friday, June 12. No refunds will be issued for requests received after the cancellation deadline.
The Arc reserves the right to review and refund registration fees it deems appropriate. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Attendee substitutions are gladly accepted.
Transfers
Only one transfer is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution.
To transfer your registration prior to the event, please submit a written request to [email protected]. On-site transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation email.

Rights/Usage
Registration and participation in Summer Leadership Institute sessions and networking events constitutes an agreement by the attendee to the use and distribution of the attendee’s image and voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotape of events and activities by The Arc of the United States and the National Council of Executives, without any compensation or credit to the attendee.
Code of Conduct
The Arc and the National Conference of Executives (NCE) are dedicated to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming experience for all Summer Leadership Institute participants. To this end, we strictly prohibit any act that demeans, menaces, discriminates against, or harasses any Summer Leadership Institute participant, including staff and contractors, based on their sex, gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), creed, veteran status, technology choices, or other characteristic(s). We expect all event participants to abide by this Code of Conduct while attending any Summer Leadership Institute sessions and networking events. We reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and reserve the right to prohibit attendance to any future meeting, virtually or in person.
